This technology, developed by the XRPL community, enables projects, artists, and communities to officially credential their creations on-chain, providing a verifiable record of authenticity and ownership. How does it work? By combining three XRPL standards—XLS-20, XLS-70, and XLS-46—we create a unique on-chain trail that verifies both ownership and authenticity. Each Turtle NFT (XLS-20) is paired with a Certificate of Authenticity (XLS-70/XLS-46). Following the XRPL protocol, the certificate is designed to transfer with the NFT. When ownership changes, the new owner purchases the Certificate of Authenticity for $1, ensuring the credential continues to follow the artwork throughout its lifetime on the ledger. Each Turtle is an original hand-drawn creation by Adrian Corrales.
