Before you send
How long does an exchange take?
Most exchanges complete within minutes once your deposit confirms. Chains with slow confirmation, like Bitcoin, can take longer — the ticket shows the estimate for your pair, and the tracker page shows every step live.
What does it cost?
A flat 0.4% — our exchange partner’s standard rate, already included in the quote you see, so the estimate is what arrives. xrpl.to adds nothing on top. The source chain’s own network fee applies when you send the deposit.
Do I need an account?
No. Paste the address where you want to receive funds, send one deposit, done. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to install.
Is it custodial?
No. xrpl.to never holds your assets and keeps no balance on the site. The exchange itself is carried out by ChangeNOW, an established non-custodial exchange service that moves the funds chain-to-chain and generates the deposit address for your order.
Do you add a fee on top?
No. We send your amount to ChangeNOW and show you their quote exactly as it comes back — the 0.4% is their standard exchange rate, not an xrpl.to markup. You get the same rate here as you would going to them directly, with your XRP landing next to the charts, swap and wallet you were already using.
Why do some deposits need a memo or tag?
Chains like XRP, XLM and TON use shared deposit addresses, and the memo routes your transfer. When the ticket shows a memo, include it exactly — a missing memo delays the exchange.
What if I send a different amount?
Send exactly the amount shown when creating the exchange. A different amount can delay processing or settle at a different rate than quoted.
Can I move XRP off the XRP Ledger?
Yes — switch the ticket to Sell XRP and choose the asset and chain you want to receive on. The same flat 0.4% fee applies.
