I derived at the name Vessica because the bulk of the artwork is either within or connected to the two intersecting circles in the middle known as a Vesica Piscis in sacred geometry. In this piece is a journey from the bottom upward through the layers of the chakra system starting from the root ascending all the way through to the crown. Each chakra is represented symbolically in order ascending upward. At the bottom you can see roots hanging down also with veins running though them using literal root and the red of the blood to represent the root chakra. Additionally you will notice in the roots in the middle they twirl around each other, which is meant to represent the spiraling nature of our DNA. The root chakra is the foundation that all the others are built upon. Without it the others cannot be. Moving up you will notice an orange sun / placenta containing a baby fetus, representing the creation energy, and vitality of the sacral chakra. Slightly upward contained in the shared space are the rays of the sun and the yellow hue as the representation for the solar plexus chakra, just like in real life closely associated with the sacral chakra, where the sacral is the creative force the solar is the raw energy and will as well as the epicenter for confidence. You will notice from the baby the ambilocal cord flowing up through the solar plexus and into the Earth, but before that the DNA is flowing up through the roots into the placenta. The earth which is the center piece of the upper and lower realms and with its big green beautiful landmass on it is the representation for the heart chakra. It is not a mistake that heart and earth use the same exact letters either. On each side of the earth you see stars, each side is an actual constellation, my two favorites and possibly the most important ones. On the left we have a partial representation of Orion and on the right is the big dipper which happens to contain our pole star Polaris. Moving up beyond that with the clouds, and musical notes saturated in a sky blue environment is the representation of the throat chakra. I forget which song it was but the notes displayed is the main chord progression of one of my favorite Bob Marley songs. The clouds and notes portray the wispy expressive nature of the throat chakra. The eye right above with its violet tones are a straight forward representation of the third eye chakra. This is where we cultivate our intuition, imagination, perception, and spiritual awareness, serving as a gateway to deeper understanding and insight beyond physical sight. Finally to top it all off, of course is the crown with its lilac / lavender colored jewels represents the crown chakra. It is associated with spiritual connection, higher consciousness, transcendence and the understanding of our true nature. /// I thank you, and I appreciate you.
