I painted this piece using a tree I picked up at the park yesterday. I put ink used in Japanese calligraphy on the tree and painted on the paper, then drew butterflies and flowers as I felt inspired. I think it turned out to be a Japanese painting that is uniquely my own 😆 There are four paintings in the Four Seasons series. However, I intentionally did not put seasons in the title. I wanted to emphasize the seasons as perceived by the people who bought the paintings.
