What Is Treasury (TRSRY)?
Treasury (TRSRY) is a cryptocurrency project built on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) that aims to deliver genuine utility to the XRP ecosystem. The project was launched in December 2021 with the goal of creating a strong community and offering various utilities to its holders. The native token of the project is $TRSRY, which serves as a currency for trading and accumulating within the Treasury ecosystem. The project's team is focused on delivering value to its holders through various initiatives, such as the launch of a secondary token $UtiliteX, NFT Bonds, a learning academy, and a venture platform to support new projects launching on the XRPL. The team is also working on developing an Insur utility to provide holders with protection against rug pulls and scams.
Who Are the Founders of Treasury?
Treasury was founded by Jason Nastevski, an Australian native who sought to create a cryptocurrency project that provided real utility to its community of investors. Recognizing the prevalence of scams and poorly managed projects in the crypto industry, Nastevski recruited a team of experts from around the world to assess the needs and wants of the community of investors and identify problematic issues faced by other projects. The result was the development of Treasury, a multifaceted ecosystem designed to address these issues and provide genuine value to its community of investors.
What Makes Treasury Unique?
Treasury differentiates itself from other cryptocurrencies by offering a comprehensive ecosystem that provides real utility to its community of investors. This includes a secondary token, $UtiliteX, that delivers specific and targeted utility, NFT bonds designed to carry a locked-in value in $TRSRY far greater than their purchase price, a learning academy that pays users to learn and a venture launchpad to support new teams and projects looking to bring their ideas and utility to life on the XRPL. Additionally, Treasury offers Insur, which provides holders with a degree of protection against rug pulls and regular reports highlighting any red flags identified by forensic crypto analysts. Overall, Treasury aims to effect genuine positive influence on the XRPL blockchain whilst offering its holders genuine value through the utilities that are offered.
Treasury's NFT Bonds
Treasury's NFT Bonds are a unique concept in the NFT (Non-Fungible Token) space, providing real, intrinsic, and redeemable value. Each NFT Bond carries a locked-in value in the form of Treasury's native token, $TRSRY, which is greater than the purchase price. Each NFT Bond has a maturation date, upon which the bond can be redeemed for $TRSRY tokens by returning the NFT Bond to Treasury. The NFT Bonds may also be bought and sold on the secondary market. The NFT Bonds come structured in three tiers (Coins, Plaques, and Bars) that highlight the NFT's rarity and value, and there are also a small number of animated Special Edition NFT Bonds.
Treasury's Rewards
Treasury's Stakeholder Rewards Programme aims to reward loyal investors with real, tangible assets that can be put to use. The program includes a tiered rewarding structure that reflects the different types of holders and their loyalty to the project. The minimum holding required to be eligible for rewards is currently 718 $TRSRY, which can be earned through Treasury's Academy. Holders of the minimum qualifying amount will receive 0.01% of their $TRSRY holdings, paid daily in $UtiliteX. The program also includes two other tiers for holders who have accumulated larger amounts of both $TRSRY and $UtiliteX, with rewards of 0.16% and 0.32% of their $TRSRY holdings, respectively, paid daily in $UtiliteX. The program is powered by AD Machine, in association with SwissTech and TipperCoin, and aims to deliver rewards to legitimate holders while checking wallets against a central farmer-tracking database.
Treasury's Academy
Treasury's Academy is a program that allows individuals to earn real assets while learning about crypto investing, the Treasury Ecosystem, trading on the XRPL, and how to avoid scams and rugpulls. The program is available to all $TRSRY holders and offers a range of learning resources on the Treasury platform. Participants can gain a better understanding of the Treasury XRPL and its suite of utilities, as well as learn about XRPL in general and how to trade on it. The Academy also provides education on how to keep your crypto safe and how to identify scams and rugpulls. Additionally, guest lessons are available from other established projects that pay participants in either their native token or $TRSRY. The Academy is a great way for individuals who cannot afford to access the more premium utility offered by $UtiliteX to slowly accumulate it by accumulating and holding $TRSRY, which is paid out to them for every lesson completed.
Treasury's Venture
Treasury's Venture serves as a launchpad for new projects on the XRP Ledger. Interested start-up projects may submit their whitepaper and other relevant information to undergo a vetting process. Once approved, they will enter a monthly voting round where $UtiliteX holders can use their tokens to back the project they believe has the best merits and potential. Each $UtiliteX counts as one vote, and voters can allocate their tokens to one or several of the candidate projects. The total amount of $UtiliteX committed to the winning project will be sold for XRP to generate seed funding for the project. The winning project will receive their funding in several payments as they reach milestones, and voters who backed the winning project will receive a holding in that project's token, worth no less than what their $UtiliteX was worth. The backed token will be received ahead of any public airdrops, for free. Any $UtiliteX used to vote for projects that didn't win the vote will be returned to the voter's block.
Insur
Treasury's Insur program is designed to protect investors from fraudulent activities in the crypto space, including rugpulls and scams. The program will be launched by late spring and will offer a degree of protection to holders of $UtiliteX. In case of a loss due to a malicious project, investors can make a claim through the Insur program. Additionally, investors will have access to regular reports that identify any red flags in the crypto space, giving them early warning signs.
What is TRSRY $UtiliteX?
$UtiliteX is a token that is part of Treasury's ecosystem and is used to reward loyal investors. It was initially distributed to $TRSRY holders as a reward for their loyalty, and it is also used as a means of payment for Treasury's services and products. $UtiliteX allows investors to earn rewards without creating volatility in the market. It also plays a role in Treasury's Insur program, where holders of $UtiliteX have access to regular reports highlighting any red flags identified by forensic crypto analysts. Additionally, $UtiliteX can be used in the voting process for Treasury's Venture launchpad program.
